Woodbridge Montessori Academy (WMA) program offers before and after school child care programs, and also a School's Out program during times when regular class days are canceled.
We pride ourselves on our unique ability to offer full support services for children of all ages up to 12 years, including our own Montessori students as well as those attending public school.
We allow our school age children to expand on all of our Montessori materials in a nurturing, safe environment. We offer direct bus pick-up and drop-off to those attending public school to ensure that students arrive and leave our facility safely.
Experienced and qualified teachers are present to supervise and assist with student's homework. The rooms are equipped with all sorts of materials and activities compatible with the Montessori philosophy, geared specifically to the appropriate age group and the child's interests. There are plenty of activities to enjoy both indoors and outside.
Our after school program is not merely a time for children to wait to be picked up. Instead, we apply the Montessori Method to this crucial time of your child's day by providing outdoor activities, encouraging gross and fine motor skill development, providing the ability to participate in arts and crafts, and much more.
We offer plenty of opportunities for outdoor play, allowing children to release energy as well as explore the beautiful natural surroundings of our facility. Our Before & After School program also focuses on the importance of socialization, allowing children to develop friendships as they continue to grow as individuals.
On days on which regular classes are closed (conference days, professional days, spring break, winter break and selected holidays), full-day child care is available in the same environments in which before and after school care is based.
